What about shipping?

You will see shipping charges listed on screen before checkout. For phone orders, we will quote shipping charges at the time of your order. Large items & furniture’s shipping cost may vary according to your destination, size and quantity of shipment. We are happy to get shipping quote to your area. Please contact us and provide us with your shipping address for quote. See shipping information.

What about cancellation?

If you cancel an order prior to the shipment leaving our warehouse in California, we will gladly refund the full amount of the order. But if the order is already shipped from our warehouse in California, it will be subject to a 30% cancellation fee. Custom orders require 50% non-cancelable, non-returnable deposit.

What about order refusals?

Should you choose to refuse your order at the point of delivery, or if a delivery attempt is made following a confirmed delivery date and arrangements have not been made for the order to be received, you will be subject to the following charges:

All shipping charges incurred during the delivery process to you, and back to our warehouse.

What about returns?

All returns must be approved by Fan Tan & Company. All authorized returns must be made within 15 days of receiving the goods, in its original packing material.

Refunds for refused and returned merchandise will be equal to the cost of the merchandise refused less all shipping charges incurred during the delivery process to you, and back to our warehouse.  You will be responsible for our actual full shipping cost.  Returns will only be accepted and credits issued if the merchandise is returned back to our warehouse undamaged in its original condition and in its original packaging. Fan Tan & Company cannot accept returns for custom ordered merchandise.

What About damage claims?

All damaged merchandise claims must be filed with our customer service department within three days of the receipt of your order. Fan Tan & Company reserves the rite to repair or fully refund any piece of merchandise. It will be at Fan Tan & Company’s discretion to have a professional inspect damaged merchandise to determine whether the item in question will be repaired or returned.

What about Privacy? 
We respect your privacy and will not give out your information to anyone. We do not sell or give our lists to anyone. We take your privacy as seriously as you do. To help ensure your privacy, we use the most up-to-date encryption technology to keep your personal information secure. This includes your billing, credit card, and account information. None of this can be read as it travels to our system.

What about sales tax?
You will not be charged sales tax for any item shipped to any address outside of California. California address will be subject to sales tax.
